Statement:

Informed by an interest in history, urban culture, and modernist abstraction. I create multi media work that incorporate high and low cultural references as a way of exploring the social function and codified language inherent within various aspects of urban culture. Its influence on popular culture and how we can come to understand its unique vocabulary through modernisms own art historical and ideological lens.
